Maxum's Magneto-Hydrodynamics (MHD) Remediation Technology
Maxum's Magneto-Hydrodynamics (MHD)  remediation technology is capable of destroying double bond organics (DCE, PCE, TCE, VC, etc.), petroleum hydrocarbons (gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, kerosene, heating oil, etc.), volatile organics, semi-volatile organics, pesticides, metals (arsenic, chromium, cyanide, lead, etc.) PCB's, explosives, and dioxin. The MHD Reactor is a device & technology that both affects the molecular structure, and influences the molecular charge, of a contaminant. The end result is the modification of hazardous contaminants into harmless compounds.

Chemical by-products of The MHD Treatment System

Maxum's MHD remediation technology chemically transforms hazardous contaminants that negatively affect human health and the environment into harmless chemicals.  The byproducts are predominantly carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O).  Additional potential byproducts, depending on the site-specific treatment process, may include oxygen (O2), halides, manganese dioxide (MnO2), potassium carbonate (K2CO3), inorganic amides, or ammonium salts.
